Process

Going through what needs to be done - write up patterns for my ice dyed quilts, plus some instructions for beginner sewing projects (scarf, zippy bag, and scrunchy). The figure out some calls for work, and develop a 10-20 piece series.

The quilt patterns are for ice dyed fabrics and large scale prints. This way, when you purchase some ice dyed fabric - there will be a plan. I have a variety of quilts planned - two large scale blocks and a 60 x 65 quilt using a panel of ice dyed fabric. The two large scale blocks can also be used in a repeat to form a larger quilt. The large scale blocks are sewn and just need to be bound or quilted.

The quilts are designed to be easy and fun to assemble and make use of chain piecing.

In the meanwhile, I went back to working on a project that I started last summer.

I was excited to see the insects were out this past weekend, so I went out and shot some photos. The weather has been cool and rainy, so I was very excited about this change.
